1964 Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar with 60’s Gelb hard shell case

This is an iconic to the core Gibson acoustic guitar.  This 1964 Hummingbird acoustic guitar is a player’s player.  It has the original tuners, but the nut is not original-1 11/16th width.  Someone loved and played this beauty.  Frets need crowning, but there is plenty left.  The top has 4 cracks that have been professionally repaired and cleated.  Two of the repairs are fairly old and two are more recent.  The neck is straight with some truss adjustments left.  Not sure if the bridge/saddle are original.  The case it comes with is blue not gold on the inside and looks to be a 60’s Gelb.  All in all this is a great investment and one that you wouldn’t be afraid to do a little gigging with.  It most certainly will turn heads with an “is that real?” comment for sure.  There is also beautiful checking that gives it that “I’m original” authentic look.
